Have an overnight experience like you've never had before! Have an amazing night exploring miSci on your own and with a special scavenger hunt, planetarium show, education program … and maybe some sleep.
Cost: $30 per child $15 per adult
A single payment is expected the day of the camp-in. A non-refundable deposit of $200 must be sent at least two weeks before the date of the camp-in.
Chaperones must be responsible for children at all times. One chaperone per 10 children required. Minimum of 30 children. If the minimum number of children cannot be reached, adults will be charged at the child rate until the minimum is met. Maximum of 100 individuals including children and chaperones.

Camp-ins must be booked at least one month in advance.

Please note: This is a sample schedule showing what the evening includes. Your specific schedule may be different based on the number of children in your camp-in and your program.
Some things to remember:
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• Please have students use the restroom before the planetarium show begins.
• The museum gift shop will close at 7
• Chaperones are responsible for collecting and keeping health and contact information for their group.
•The museum doors are locked at 7:00pm. Please have all items in the museum by this time. If you must leave the museum after 7:00pm please ring the doorbell.
•Breakfast (cereal and coffee) will be available 7:00am-8:00am.
What to bring to a miSci camp in:
o Changes of clothing:
o Sleep wear
o Next day change of clothes
o Sleeping materials eg Sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, bed roll, air mattress
o Proper shoes for exploring the museum
o Spending money for the hurricane machine ($2 each run)
o Spending money for the gift shop
o Any special dietary foods needed for your child (that does not need refrigeration)
Please mark your bags with your child’s name and troop number if part of a scout group. The temperature may vary inside miSci from area to area. We recommend bringing a sweatshirt/ and or sweatpants for sleeping just in case.
We will designate your sleeping area based on the number of individuals in your group.
There will be some lighting on in all sleeping areas, it will not be completely dark. There will be enough light to get to the bathrooms at any time.
Dinner and breakfast will be served to all scouts and adults. Pizza and salad will be offered for dinner, as well as drinks. Croutons and cheese will be served on the side of the salad. Breakfast will include cereal as well as coffee for adults. 1%, 2%, and a milk alternative such as Almond Milk.
